On January 9th 2009, several members of Sundays At Seven had an opportunity to visit with Fr Tom Kraft at the Blessed Sacrament Priory. For most of us, it was the last time we saw Fr Tom before he passed away. It was a beautiful evening of prayer, song and “chit chat” as Fr Tom put it. After the visit, several of us continued the evening at Julia’s Indonesian Kitchen for dessert and drinks; and when the last customers left, we started jammin’. Mars had been working on a chord progression and melody; Joel Korkowski came up with the refrain and verse 1. Amy Lenhardt came up with verse 2. Alicia Craff penned verse 3, and collectively we came up with the bridge. This beautiful photo montage was lovingly created by Khoi Che.

The slideshow video below is from Fr. Tom’s time spent at All Saints Catholic Newman Center in Tempe, Arizona from 1986-1989. This was part of a video produced as Fr. Tom’s going away present in May 1989. More clips from the 1989 video can be found here.
